A Home Inspection is an all encompassing examination of the condition of a home. Buying a house is one of the most important investment, one will ever make. The process of purchasing a home is both rewarding and often stressful. Dealing with the contract negotiations, paperwork and mortgage loans can be quite tiring, so the buyer is least bothered about the unforeseen problems associated with his or her investment. There is a very old saying, “It’s better to be Safe than Sorry”. Keeping in mind this one should be aware of whether the investment is fruitful or not. The Home Inspection is important to check whether your Dream House is a right dream house for you or not.
The first most important step in buying a home is – ‘Home Inspection’ to avoid any wrong investments in your life. During this process, a professional home examiner surveys the foundation and structure, roof, exterior, major systems (electrical, heating, cooling and plumbing) and appliances that will stay with the home.

During inspection the inspector will point out all the potential areas where repairs are required. The condition report is prepared after inspection is completed which will determine whether investing money in that particular home is wise or not. Home inspection is basically a non-invasive examination of the condition of a home. It helps in finding the hidden truths in the house. It helps both the buyer and seller to know where the problem lies and what all repair work needs to be carried out.
If you are a seller, home inspection should be carried out before putting your home up for sale. It helps
you in knowing the problems and areas of repairs and you can easily fix them up before the potential buyer sees them. Generally, the buyers hire some building expert to check and examine the condition of the home before buying. So as a seller, if you have already conducted the home inspection, you can present the inspection report to the buyer, assuring him or her for the best investment. Home inspection helps in fixing any problems before hand and thus you have a better chance of getting higher price for your house.

Home inspection is quite economical which might require few dollars, but helps you in putting your money in safe basket. It is always advisable to conduct the inspection before buying or selling the house to double ensure yourself on sale or purchase with perfect investment. A home inspection is quite common in the real estate industry today. The majority of home purchase contracts will call out a home inspection as a contingency on the sale. Buyer beware, however, you must request this contingency as it is not an automatic clause. When purchasing a home it is a wise decision to invest a few hundred extra dollars in a home inspection. This small investment will help provide peace of mind when investing your life savings in a home. Hence, HOME INSPECTION is an important factor in sale or purchase of a house.
