Top Classic Car Museums

Classic car museums own most famous cars of old times and remind us some good memories. The first such museum that you can find around is National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. As the name indicates, here you can find the glorious Corvette that was introduced in 1981 by Ford. Here, you can find at least 80 examples of this beautiful sports car. Besides this, they have also displayed some unique concept cars that were never produced.  The museum remains open daily and holds various exhibitions as well.
Owls Head Transportation Museum is held in Owls Head, Maine and includes fifty unique classic cars from 1885 to 1950s. Here, you can find a whole variety of 1907 Cadillac Runabout, 1914 Rolls Royce limousine and 1940 Ford Station Wagon. They also feature a winter transportation festival as well that is reportedly quite famous.

Mullin Automotive is held in Oxnard, California and is the one of its kind museum in the world. They are featuring 50 French classic cars produced from 1920s and 1930s. Some of famous brands feature here include Bugatti, Hispano Suiza, Delage, Talbot-Lago and Delahaye.

The National Automobile Museum of Reno includes some 200 very rare and classic cars. They have also displayed cars owned by famous celebrities and personalities including Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. A very old American-built steam road carriage is also displayed. One of their prides is 1907 Thomas Flyer that won the 22,000-mile race from New York to Paris. 


Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart in Germany is displaying 160 historic cars and increasing the reputation of hometown Stuttgart. The museum was designed by a Dutch firm named UNStudio and included reminiscent of New York’s Guggenheim Museum. It includes some very old and famous cars from Mercedes such as 1886 Daimler, Mercedes-Benz 300 SL and Mercedes-Benz B F-Cell. 

The Lamborghini Museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese in Italy includes vintage and concept cars from Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of Lamborghini. The famous cars standing here include Reventon, Plolizia Stradale, Aventador, Estoque sedan, Miura and Countach.

Ford Discovery Center is located in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. First opened in 1999, the center was opened with an idea to preserve the Ford Motor Company’s heritage in Australia. It includes various vintage cars from Ford. The building is consisted of two floors and also includes a theatre as well.


The National Motor Museum located in Birdwood, South Australia was established in 1964. It is Australia’s largest motor museum that includes 300 vehicles on display.
